One of the most important meeting moments for the industrial sector of Southern and Central Italy is back: from 23 to 25 November, the Nuova Fiera del Levante in Bari will host MECSPE, the main trade fair for the industrial sector and industry 4.0 organized by Senaf, for promote the city of excellence and show the innovation that is happening in Southern and Central Italy.
Also in this edition De Palma Thermofluid will be present at Stand M17 of the New Pavilion of the Fiera del Levante with our technical staff and many innovations in the mechanical sector for the production industry but also new solutions for the naval sector, fields where it operates daily in close contact with small and large firms, both national and international.
The new edition of MECSPE Focus Mediterraneo reaffirms Bari’s role as an innovation engine for Southern and Central Italy; three days that will give full access to the innovation process and good practices implemented in the area, and entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to participate in events and networking and training, discover the quality of the entire supply chain for digital 5.0 in the industrial sector, focusing on the main themes of innovation, support and training.
Digital transformation is a path that has already begun and entrepreneurs have understood the importance not only of adopting new technologies, but of creating the conditions for a profound cultural change within it that is based on innovation. A culture that also shows support and that entrepreneurs are starting to put more energy into investments, but we are only at the beginning.
The central part of the exhibition, the exhibition pavilion “Energy transfer in industry 4.0: sustainability and industrialization“, will bring topical products of interest to new entrepreneurs, who will see professionals in business and technology, considering the challenges of the future . and the impact of the department on the environment and communities in question.
This event will be an opportunity to anticipate market trends and share new content, through meetings and useful cases that will involve partners, exhibitors and technology supporters. These themes will also be extended to the Innovation Square for the energy transition, where topics such as research and development of innovations and technologies for high-tech companies will be explored in depth. Bari represents a good position to contribute significantly to these issues given the presence in the area of clusters dedicated to aviation, companies with high technological content and research centers such as the “Politecnico di Bari” and CETMA.
Among the novelties of this edition is the StartUp Factory, which lands in Bari for the first time, after the success of the Bologna edition, offering a large audience in the manufacturing industry B2B networking between startups and high-content exhibition opportunities technological. And there is no lack of attention to issues related to increasingly frequent support for business planning, evidence of a strongly growing emotionality in this area. From this awareness the Sustainability Objective Path was born, a modification of the EcoFriendly Path, an objective that aims to give visibility and recognize the speakers who have completed a sustainability path.
Sustainable orientation, according to the principles of Senaf, a company that has been organizing MECSPE for over 30 years and promoting temporary exhibitions, fairs and conferences. In the year 2023 Senaf obtained the ISO 20121 certification, to develop and implement a management system for the sustainability of life events, monitoring and evaluating all the processes necessary to carry out activities in accordance with the social sustainability process.
The program of events will be completed with the third soul of MECSPE, training, which will play an important role in the context of Piazza della Formazione 4.0, thanks to the collaboration between MECSPE and the ITS “A. Cuccovillo”, a meeting space that offers young people new opportunities and promotes the development of the area. Today, more than ever, schools and companies will work together to apply new skills and put them in contact with the world of production, giving the opportunity to understand the need for training to acquire new technologies. The conference space and exhibition space will welcome various partners to engage more students.
The MECSPE YOUNG & CAREER space was also created with the aim of connecting students closest to entering the world of work and companies currently looking for young people trained to enter the job market. Students will be involved through fun and practical activities that will challenge them and bring them closer to creativity.
There is also an opportunity for internationalization, which is important for the growth and at the same time the strengthening of Italian companies. The new edition of MECSPE aims to act as a driving force to encourage the internationalization of local businesses; Exhibitors at the Show will have the opportunity to meet buyer representatives from European and non-European countries during the day of the event through the relevant program and individual company meetings. MECSPE thus confirms its role as a showcase for the industrial sector and the best of Made in Italy.
As part of the event, historic events will also be held such as AIDAM Village, the Italian Association of Mechanical Automation and ASCOMUT Village, the Italian Association of Machine and Tool Technologies which represents import and distribution companies and branches of foreign manufacturers.
